Richard Pope

Richard serves as the Lead Pastor at Canvas Church in Salisbury, MD. Pastor Richard also serves as a Church Plant Catalyst with the Send Network and the Baptist Convention of MD/DE helping churches plant churches all over Maryland & Delaware.

Richard and his wife Payton have been married since 2020 and live in Salisbury with their German Shepherd, Mearhsa. In 2021, Pastor Richard led a team to plant Canvas and has served as the lead pastor since that time. When he isn’t leading the church or serving church planters – Richard enjoys spending time writing songs with friends, exploring small towns and big cities with Payton, writing poetry, and eating all the taco’s he can find!
